TheAsteroid Cityactress appeared as a guest on a podcast, where she discusses her role as a renowned actress and a parent juggling between her duties and busy work schedule.

Scarlett Johansson Calls Motherhood an Emotionally Abusive Relationship
Recently,Scarlett Johanssonwas a guest onThe Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast, where she shared her insight on motherhood, calling it“really tough,”especially when they turn 3 years old. The actress recalled raising the obstacles of raising her and ex-husband Romain Dauriac’s 8-year-old daughter Rose when she was a toddler.
“I remember my daughter when she was 2, I said, ‘This is great. I don’t know what everybody is talking about.’ And then she turned 3, and it’s like being in an emotionally abusive relationship.”

Johansson added how toddlers go through a wide range of emotions and are not afraid to showcase their emotions unlike adults, making them bossy.
“It’s crazy, very intense emotional swings and so bossy and adamant. And, also these huge mood swings, constant mood swings…You’re up and down constantly.”

She continued that babies, on the other hand, are easier to handle, as they sit in a place and love you. However, once they grow old, all they give is grief to you.
“Having a baby is so lovely. They’re so cute. They sit there and they love you and then that’s it. And you just get love from them. You get a lot of grief from toddlers. Everything you do is wrong.”

While theAvengers: Endgameactress is not very happy with motherhood as it presents unwanted challenges to the life of the actress, she felt extremely guilty following the MCU’s strange policy.

Scarlett Johansson Felt Guilty Of Following MCU’s Strange Policy
Johansson, who has gained immense popularity in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for playing the role of Natasha Romanoff/ Black Widow. However, she opened up about the franchise’s secretive policy which had strongly violated her personal values, making her feel guilty.
“I’m not a guarded, secretive person by nature anyway.”
Hence, when she was asked by the reporters and fans, she felt kind of guilty, as if she has done something wrong. She laughingly added that she felt as if she is having an affair.
“A strange phenomenon of feeling kind of guilty … like you’re doing something wrong. I felt like I was having an affair or something and everyone suspected it.”
Scarlett Johansson had a terrible time working asBlack Widowfor eight years, and playing the character for so long was extremely difficult for her, but it was more than she could have hoped for.
