You might’ve come across some sources that say that Pink Ribbon Eels only show up at night, but that’s not actually the case. Instead, it’s possible to catch these eels at any time in-game, but it helps to know how to spot which fish will be Pink Ribbon Eels just by looking at the pools.
Spotting Pink Ribbon Eels
If you fish regularly in Infinity Nikki, you might’ve noticed that the fish you see in pools will occasionally blow bubbles. The primary use of Pink Ribbon Eels is exchanging them forrandom rewards from Mitcheli, who you may find by the Leisureely Anglers Florawish Branch Warp Spire. She has a little stand set up on the docks there, and when you speak with her, you have the option to give her a Pink Ribbon Eel. If the eel is too small, she won’t accept it. But for the ones she takes from you, you can get a variety of rewards, such as a title, Diamonds, Blings, and Shining Particles. There’s no limit to how many eels you can give her, so it’s a good chance to try getting as many Diamonds as you can, which can then be used to buy Resonance Crystals.
Some activities for the season of shooting stars have you catching a certain number of Pink Ribbon Eels during the event, butthe most you need to exchange with Mitcheli for those activities is four, making it easy enough to accomplish. Otherwise, the other use for Pink Ribbon Eels is for some time-limited quests, such as Valentina’s quest, where she wants an eel to give her unlucky friend.
