Healing is a huge theme inMetaphor: ReFantazio, but in some cases, it’s about destruction. For Virga Island, there’s one sacred spot that no one is allowed to traverse outside of a priestess, and it just so happens to be physically and metaphorically.
Upon reaching the Dragon Temple just north of Virga Island, you’ll be met with a little bit of resistance. It’s not a group trying to bar your entry into the temple, but a physical tree growing in front of the entrance that stalls your progress. In order to continue forth, you’ll need to head back to the Pagan Village and talk toEupha’s brother, who has a solution, but it requires some ingredients to make it work.

Gathering Information
The objective of securing thePotion of Blightbegins on August 19 after heading to the Temple of the Dragon the day prior. When you obtain this quest, you likely won’t know where to go at first, so it’s a good idea to start asking around in the village.
Just outside the inn will be a villager with a frustration icon above his head. Upon talking to theGossipy Man, he will let you know to talk to the informant in the tavern to gather a little bit more information on the ingredients. On top of this, he also reveals that Batlin also might have some information.
Head into the tavern and talk to theTalkative Mustari. He will begin to point you in the next direction: The Royal Capital.
The Royal Capital Grand Trad
There’s no better place to gather information than in front of the Regalith Grand Cathedral. There’s a good number of merchants in the area, so surely they will have a good idea where to get the ingredients.
Talk to the Water Merchant near the entrance of the area, and she will tell you aboutParchwater, a key ingredient to the potion. Unfortunately, the Water Merchant only deals in drinkable elixirs, so this is as much as you’re able to get out of her. Most of the merchants here won’t be much help, but there is one person who does have this in stock:Comfort Concoctions.
This small shop is located in Sunshade Row and deals in general medicine, but in the key item section, you’ll find theParchwater. This is described as “Mysterious water that induces thirst the more you drink it. A natural desiccant to dry up plants and trees.” It will cost you a measly 500 reeve.
With this, head back to the Pagan Village and hand over theParchwaterto Edeni. He will put together the rest of the ingredients to create thePotion of Blight, allowing you access to the Dragon Temple. All that needs to be done is head over to the temple and use it on the tree to open the way.
