Apple TV+has a few different options when it comes to content with multiple languages spoken throughout. And in April of last yearwe heardthe streaming service was set to add another, a multi-layered thriller calledNow and Then. Now, almost one year later, we finally get our first trailer.

Today, Apple TV+ has shared the first official trailer for its upcoming thrillerNow and Then. Thecast includesJorge López (Elite), Alicia Jaziz (Vantage Point), Dario Yazbek (The House of Flowers), Alicia Sanz (#RealityHigh), Jack Duarte (Orisha), and Miranda de la Serna (Before Opening Night). The first season is set to premiere on Friday, August 16, 2025. It’s shot in both Spanish and English.

Here’s Apple’s official description of the upcoming drama:

Set in Miami with an all-Hispanic cast, Now and Then explores the differences between youthful aspirations and the reality of adulthood, when the lives of a group of college best friends are forever changed after a celebratory weekend ends up with one of them dead. Now, 20 years later, the remaining five are reluctantly reunited by a threat that puts their seemingly perfect worlds at risk.

Now and Thenis a bilingual series that will be shot in Spanish and English. The series was created by Ramón Campos, Gema R. Neira, and Teresa Fernández-Valdés, the team behind several different Spanish series includingVelvetandCable Girls.

The trailer gives some very distinctI Know What You Did Last Summervibes, but the story jumping ahead 20 years certainly makes it stand out in its own right. It will be interesting to see how the story unfolds over the course of the first season.
