New features will be arriving soon for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, details of which were included in Ubisoft’s latestblog post.
Ubisoft Announce Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Visual Customisation System Launching Today
The post outlines some of the features which include a visual customisation system, allowing a full range of options for personalisation of gear or transmog if you will. The new system will let players choose their weapons, armor and gear to suits their preferred look without affecting the actual stats of their armor. Players will be able to access this through their inventory.
Not only will you be able to change your style of gear, but even the armor or weapons you’ve chosen to sell will be collected as a look. You may be wondering “well what about the gear I’ve already collected before the update?” these will be added to your collection, including sold or dismantle items.
The system seems quite flexible, allowing you apply looks from different rarities, but the only limitation is that they will need to be of the same weapon or gear category, no dagger looks on swords etc. Players should note that the game will be down due to maintenance at 9 am EDT (3pm CET).
Assassin’s Creed Odysseyis available to play on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
