What Changes Does No Man’s Sky - Worlds Part II Bring?
No Man’s Sky continues to evolve after nearly a decade of constant updates, and now Hello Games has just released Worlds Part II, a new free expansion that transforms the gameplay experience with more detailed environments, new planets, and improved lighting. With this update, billions of star systems and trillions of new planets have been added, offering even more places to explore in this vast universe.
One of the most notable additions is the introduction of gas giants, which now appear in the galaxy as massive planets ten times larger than existing ones, featuring extreme atmospheres and gigantic storms.

Oceans have been enhanced with depths reaching several kilometers, more realistic reflections, and new marine creatures, including never-before-seen species that inhabit the deep sea. The lighting system has also been overhauled, achieving more realistic effects in shadows, reflections, and lights, making each planet feel unique.
Gameplay content has also expanded with a new mission that delves deeper into the game’s mythology and connects stories that have been developing over the years. Additionally, the inventory system has been improved, and new technologies have been added to the exosuit, making exploration and combat easier.

Alongside this, the development studio has confirmed that their game engine has been updated thanks to work on their upcoming title, Light No Fire, allowing them to apply these advancements to No Man’s Sky and achieve the improvements seen in the latest updates.
