At this year’s Xbox Developer Direct, fans were treated to a welcome surprise:the announcement of Ninja Gaiden 4, a new entry in the series coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC—alongside a shadow drop ofNinja Gaiden 2 Black.
The game, which will be available onGame Passfrom day one, is being developed through a collaboration betweenTeam Ninja and PlatinumGames,with support fromMicrosoft.

Ninja Gaiden 4is set to be one of this fall’s flagship releases, and as a preview, a new video has just been released showing off its intense gameplay.
New Trailer Shows Yakumo and Ryu in Action
Team Ninja’s official X (Twitter) account has posted a trailer for the upcoming entry in the franchise, featuring both Yakumo and Ryu Hayabusa in action.
Yakumo, a young ninja who joins the series for the first time, demonstrates a technique calledBloodraven, which allows him to manipulate both his own blood and that of his enemies.

With this powerful ability, Yakumo can move through the battlefield at superhuman speeds, string together combos, and leave no enemies standing.

Far from the censorship that has occasionally affected theNinja Gaidenseries, this fourth entry fully embraces blood and gore, with spectacular decapitations during combat.

TheDead or Aliveninja may be less agile than Yakumo, but he makes up for it with much more powerful and forceful attacks, staying true to his previous appearances.
