Netflix successfully launched the Castlevania animated series last year, with the second season coming later this year. A new trailer for season two has been released and that the eight episodes will be available on October 26th 2018.

The first season was a lot shorter than fans expected with only four episodes, leaving a lot of more to be wanted. The announcement of season 2 revealed it would be double the length of the first season, with an eight part sequel. The series was announced previously that it would bedelayed to an October 26th release.

Returning to Netflix for a second season, Castlevania, inspired by the classic videogame series, is a dark medieval fantasy following the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepes himself. Trevor Belmont, last survivor of his house, is no longer alone, and he and his misfit comrades race to find a way to save humanity from extinction at the hands of the grief-maddened Dracula and his sinister vampire war council.
