TheMageArchetype is unique, in that it’s the innate Archetype forGallica. While not a party member in the traditional sense,Gallicadoes serve as the psuedo-Navigator for the party. Mages are Elemental Magic Attackers, learning Fire Spells, Ice Spells and Lightning Spells. The one major downside to utilizing theMageArchetype is that they are quite fragile. You’ll want to keep them in the back row and pair them with a defender like the General or theKnightArchetype.
Magewill be unlocked for other party members at the same time as it’s unlocked for you, so no need to worry about that.
You will also gain access to theMage’s Passive Skill, Magic Recovery. This will let you gain MP each time an enemy is Stunned or Defeated in Overworld Combat.
