Mastery Rank in The First Descendant can be upgraded byvisiting Prime Hands in Albion. It is a console located on the left section of Albion that is used when players spawn in the central area.

Players will not be able to use Prime Hands until they have leveled up their Master Rank. However, it is much different than the character rank. Character rank increases by destroying enemies and completing missions, and is for the currently equipped Descendant. Mastery Rank is on an account level, so players can earn XP bycompleting missions, raising Weapon Proficiency, and leveling up multiple Descendants.

That means players should beresearching new Descendantsand constantly using new weaponsto level them up, which will increase your Mastery Rank. Upgrading your Master Rank will come with new bonuses that will affect all Descendants that the player owns.
