The best part of any Fortnite update for me is the new weapons. We have a unique tool to play with in the Metallica update, so here’s how to get and use the Tow Hook Cannon in Fortnite.

Where to get the Tow Hook Cannon in Fornite

The Tow Hook Cannon is only a blue rarity (Rare) item, butit feels much less common than that. I typically find Rare items all over the place, but I’ve only seen a handful of Tow Hook Cannons. Based on my testing, Tow Hook Cannons seem to beavailable in any chest and even as floor loot.

If you head to a POI and open every chest you see, you should bump into the Tow Hook Cannon before long. If you’re struggling to locate chests,I recommend turning visual footsteps on, asit gives you a massive edgein looting and combat.

How to use the Tow Hook Cannon in Fortnite

The Tow Hook Cannon is pretty unique as it’snot a traditional weapon. You can break scenery with it, but the best part is how it works with vehicles. If you shoot a car, you’ll tether to it. If the car moves, it’ll drag you around for some hilarious moments with your friends. You can also reel yourself in with the left stick on a controller and detach by pushing the right stick in.

Unfortunately, the Tow Hook Cannon is risky in solos, as you’re asking for trouble if you tether onto an enemy car. Still, it’s a blast in Duos, Trios and Squads.

Keep in mind thatthe Cannon is quite difficult to aim. You can shoot your opponents with it, too, although a conventional weapon is more effective. If you insist on using something unusual, the Nitro Fistsare still among the best weapons in the game.

you’re able to also get somedeadly Mythic weaponsbydueling specific NPCsdotted around the map.
