With such a vast array of Stratagems to choose from, it’s hard to decide which are the ones to use in Helldivers 2. Of course, different situations call for different tools, but for me, some Stratagems shine, while others definitely don’t.
Stratagems tier list
Not all stratagems are created equal. However, where I think they rank may surprise you.
S-Tier Stratagems
These bad boys should be featured in any Liberty-loving Helldivers loadouts. These aremostly endgame Stratagemsmade for attempting to survive the harder levels. However, ‘Good Boy’ gets a mention for being the Helldiver’s best friend.
A-Tier Stratagems
A lot of these jostled for the S-tier but, for one reason or another, just missed the spot. Some of them, like the Orbital Laser, are held back by their long cooldown times. OtherHelldivers 2Stratagems only made it to A-Tier because of their limited availability.
B-Tier Stratagems
This is a controversial Helldivers tier. I feel that a lot of these wouldquite easily be A- or S-tieras long as they are used properly. However, they are dropped down simply for their lack of accuracy or difficulty to use. Some of them are just mid.
C-Tier Stratagems
C-Tier Stratagems are almost useless once you pass medium-level difficulty in Helldivers due to their lack of damage or uncanny ability to kill more friendlies than enemies. I’m looking at you, 380MM HE Barrage.
D-Tier Stratagems
Many of you may disagree with a number of these Stratagems’ placement in this Helldivers 2 tier list, but I just don’t find myself ever using them. They are either underpowered, redundant, like the supply pack, or boring, like the smoke strike.
F-Tier Stratagems
Chuck these in a bug nest and never look at them again. Arc Thrower needs to be tried for war crimes against fighters for liberty.
