Players who already got their hands onStarfield’sEarly Access are playing the game. It has already been a target of plenty of controversies but the recent one resulted in players demanding refunds and streamers raging. The game has included an option to choose preferred gender pronouns in the character customization menu. This has put Bethesda under the light of several criticisms. Huge streamers like HeelVsBabyface and Dr DisRespect have expressed their distaste regarding Bethesda’s decision.
These rants have been perceived from various perspectives and the streamers are getting a lot of backlash too. While some gamers believe that having intricate character customization is better for an immersive RPG experience, some are frustrated enough to demand refunds from Bethesda.

Some YouTubers didn’t like the use of pronouns inStarfield
Many gamers and rather prominent YouTubers like HeelVsBabyface didn’t like the fact thatStarfieldincluded gender pronouns. It wasn’t necessary to address something political in a game that was just meant for payers to enjoy. This has led to Bethesda receiving a lot of attention all over the internet. Players are enraged to the point that they’re demanding refunds.

HeelVsBabyface got more and more enraged as he started talking about the issues with Bethesda,
“I love nothing more than to be dragged out at every fcking conceivable opportunity so that you can fcking current-day us. Sorry, you wanted to get immersed in our world? Guess what, fcking pronouns! Fcking gender ambiguity! Fcking current-day Californian sht, because that’s what we fcking know because we are boring. We’re so, fcking, boring! We can’t see past our own f*cking reflections. That’s the level of our narcissism at the Bethesda Western Gaming Company.”
The YouTuber was seemingly upset aboutBethesdaincluding the pronoun ordeal in the game and how it made the title “boring” and “dull.”
“Fck your immersion, fck you having a good time. Fck you falling into a world and getting lost. No, no, no! Current fcking day, fck off! You’re boring, you’re fcking dull. You have nothing to say. You are a one-hived mind twatwaffle. That’s all you fcking are. And you wonder why people are getting fcking sick and tired?”
He furthermore added,
“You take everything we love, all our immersions, all our fantasies, all our escapism, and you just can’t help shovel your dogsht fcking crap ideology into everything. Every single solitary f*cking thing.”

The discord in the gaming community regarding the gender pronouns inStarfieldis a bit absurd. Since the beginning of time, games have been asking players their gender. Pronouns have always been a thing in the gaming community, whetherPokemonorForza Horizon 5. To perceive it as an alien concept and hate a game for it isn’t logical.
