Entire Pokemon World Championships 2024 Schedule

The 2024 Pokemon World Championships takes place over the course of three days in Honolulu, Hawai’i.The featured games are Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (Pokemon VGC), Pokemon GO, Pokemon UNITE, and the Pokemon TCG.The following tables go over each day’s schedule, with the Twitch.tv locations for each competition’s stream, and different North American time zones.

Friday, August 16

The following table lists the first day of competition for the four Pokemon games featured at the 2024 World Championships.Because the competition takes place in Hawai’i, many of the streams will start late into the day and continue into the early morning of the next day.

Saturday, August 17

Saturday’s schedule is almost exactly the same as Friday’s, with one major exception:the Pokemon UNITE stream is expected to last one hour longer because it will feature the finale. If you want to see the grand finale of the Pokemon UNITE matches, make sure to tune in on Saturday on the Pokemon UNITE specific Twitch channel listed below.

Sunday, August 18

Sunday includes the grand finales for Pokemon GO, the TCG, and VGC. They will occur one after the other on the main Pokemon Twitch channel in that order. The start and end times may not be entirely accurate, as games may run long, and extra time may be needed to prepare between games. If there’s a certain competition you want to catch, keep an eye on the main streaming channel during the listed time frames, as it is much more likely to run late than to finish early.

The closing ceremony will take place after the Pokemon VGC finals. During the closing ceremony, there are likely to be announcements about any number of Pokemon properties, including the TCG and video games. If the competition runs long, you can boot up your own copy ofScarlet or Violet to take on some celebratory Gimmighoul raidswhile you wait for the closing ceremony and any news it may bring.

Niki’s love for video games encompasses a wide range of genres, but she is especially fond of RPGs, adventure games, visual novels, simulation games, and fighting games. Her favorite video game-related pastime is asking her unwieldy backlog why she doesn’t have any new games to play. When she isn’t playing or writing about video games, she’s playing with cats, journaling, painting, or obsessing over the latest news in the world of stationery and planners.
