Mastery Camos are one of the main forms of progression inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6. They allow players to grind their way through every weapon in the game and are rewarded with exclusive camos for doing so.
Along the camo grind, players learn the ins and outs of the weapons they’re using. After everything is said and done, Mastery Camos can be applied to each specific weapon, showcasing the unique design of whatever camo is used.

There are two different Mastery Camo grinds in Black Ops 6, and each is confusing and daunting at the same time.
To make your camo grind easier, check out the guide below to learn how you can unlock every single Mastery Camo in Black Ops 6.

What are the Mastery Camos in Black Ops 6?
First and foremost, let’s go over what qualifies as a Mastery Camo in Black Ops 6. In both multiplayer andZombies, players can unlock four different Mastery Camos. They are as follows:
Multiplayer
Once you unlock a Mastery Camo for a weapon in Black Ops 6, you may use it on that specific weapon across multiplayer and Zombies. The camos aren’t specific to one game mode, and this includes Warzone as well.
However, the Mastery Camos are unlocked weapon by weapon. They aren’t unlocked at the same time for every weapon in the game. That’s where things can get confusing, so allow us to explain a little more in-depth about the unlock process

How to unlock Mastery Camos in Black Ops 6
Every weapon in Black Ops 6, whether it be multiplayer or Zombies, has the same unlock process to begin with.
In multiplayer, you need to unlock the following camos before you may start unlocking additional camos:

These camos are unlocked by earning 100 headshots per weapon, in most cases. The exceptions are the launchers and melee weapons, which require 100 destructions/kills per weapon. You unlock the nine camos at different intervals along the way to 100.
Zombies feature the same basic unlock process, but with different camos and challenges:

The initial Zombies camos usually require 1,000 critical kills per weapon. However, launchers and melee weapons simply require 2,000 regular kills.

After you ascend through these initial “Military Camos,” you move on to the Special Camos. There are two Special Camos per weapon in Black Ops 6, and they are unlocked by completing specific challenges.
No weapon has the same two Special Camo challenges but are often tailored to the individual weapon.
For example, theLR 7.62 sniper riflerequires 15 longshot kills to unlock one Special Camo in multiplayer, while theXM4 assault riflerequires kills without taking damage. Most of the time, the Special Camos can be unlocked easily, but some force you to play a certain way.
Once you have unlocked both Special Camos for a weapon, it’s time to unlock the Gold/Mystic Gold Camo. In Black Ops 6 multiplayer, you unlock Gold Camo by earning 10 double kills on every weapon. In Zombies, you need 15 rapid kills to unlock Mystic Gold (10 kills or more).
After unlocking Gold/Mystic Gold for a weapon, the next step is Diamond/Opal, followed by the two additional Mastery Camos. You can see the unlock process for each of those Mastery Camos below:
Diamond/Opal
Available after getting Gold/Mystic Gold on every weapon in a category. Unlocked by earning three killstreaks in multiplayer or special zombie eliminations in Zombies with 33 weapons.
Dark Spine/Afterlife
Available after getting Diamond/Opal on 33 weapons in Black Ops 6. Unlocked by getting three tiple kills in multiplayer or 20 consecutive kills without taking damage 10 times in Zombies with 33 weapons.
Dark Matter/Nebula
