Combined with some of the previously existing weapons, here are a few essential weapons you need to keep in your loadout to turn the tides of battle in Fortnite Battle Royale’s Chapter 5 Season 2.
Best weapons to use in the Fortnite x Star Wars collab
Below is a list of the best weapons to use in the Fortnite x Star Wars update. Naturally, you’ll get more use of them is you use them synergistically, so here are some tips.
For close-range combat,Cerberus' Gatekeeper ShotgunandE-11 Blasterswork very well. You can even have anSMGof your choice, but considering the meta right now, sticking to these two weapons should serve you better.
For medium to long-range battles, you want to switch between theWaterbending Mythicand theWookie Bowcaster. If you only fire one and completely rely on it, chances are that it’ll run out of shots and you might end up switching to a new weapon anyway. So, after every few hits, switch between the two mythics and annihilate anyone who gets in your way. Even if it’s Darth Vader with his deadly lightsaber!
E-11 Blasters
Right off the bat, keep in mind that even thoughE-11 Blastershave a humorous brand of ‘missing shots’, they are quite useful in the game. Since they don’t take time to reload, they’re great for constant pressure. You may be wondering what’s the fastest way to obtain one; the answer lies at the topmost corner of the map.
Once you’re at Darth Vader’s location (marked in the map above), you may find E-11 Blasters by either defeating stormtroopers or opening the chests in this location.
Wookie Bowcaster
Next, you’ll want theWookie Bowcasterwhich will be given to you by Star Wars' very own Chewbacca, who is loved by millions of fans. His Bowcaster allows for close to medium-range shots that have a devastating damage potential. You can find him on the island at one of these locations.
While it may be tempting, we recommend youavoidusing Darth Vader’s lightsaberas your primary weapon. The weapon simply isn’t as strong as it used to be and there are better options in the game right now.
Waterbending Mythic
Finally, you want to keep theWaterbending Mythicas part of your arsenal. This item was recently added to the game thanks to the Avatar the Last Airbender update. It lets you fire versatile shots and deals damage to opponents even at long range. This is part of the random drop pool, so players can find it by opening chests or defeating opponents.
Cerberus' Gatekeeper Shotgun
These three weapons should serve you well, but there’s another weapon you might find highly useful… if you’re up for a little challenge! attempt to obtain theCerberus' Gatekeeper Shotgun. This is an extremely powerful short-range weapon with a 164.9 damage potential and 1.7 fire rate. It can be acquired by defeating Cerberus at Grim Gate on Fortnite’s map.
