One Reddit user shared their experience about the same. They talked about the fun aspect of Permadeath mode and how the experience is so great that they also want to try it with a friend in co-op mode, but unfortunately, the friend is not that good at surviving in the game.

They were of the opinion that7 Days to Diecould introduce a feature, only in Permadeath, where people could be revived for a limited amount of time to make the Permadeath mode more inviting and exciting for a wide array of people, not just veterans.
